FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - While the next 7 days won’t be a total wash out, we’re tracking multiple chances for rain that could impact some of your plans.

Thanksgiving evening, rain showers will move into the area and last until a few hours after midnight on Friday morning. Rain will be just enough to be annoying and could linger into Saturday morning. So, if you’re someone who’s going out early to do shopping on Friday, you may want the umbrella, just in case.

Temperatures on Friday will drop into the upper 30s in the morning, but rise close to 50 in the afternoon thanks to clearing skies in the afternoon.

Dry conditions will last Friday evening and through the day on Saturday. The high on Saturday will once again be in the low 50s.

Our next chance for rain moves in overnight Saturday and will linger through Sunday, bringing with it a nice chunk of rainfall.

The work week starts out dry, but the middle of next week looks to be when our next weather system moves through, and temperatures are going to drop back behind that system. So, expect a cold end to next week.
