FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - If you didn’t like the free trial of winter weather, don’t worry, we’ll be getting a welcomed break from it just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Conditions through Wednesday will stay mostly clear, a few clouds are possible at times between Monday and Wednesday afternoon, but no big concerns for rain or snow for the first half of the week.

Morning low temperatures will still be in the low 20s on Monday and Tuesday before climbing near 30 on Wednesday morning. Afternoon high temperatures will also gradually warm up. Expect a high in the low 40s on Monday, mid 40s on Tuesday, and low 50s on Wednesday AND on Thanksgiving Day.

As of right now, most of Thanksgiving Day looks dry. However, we’re tracking a weather system that looks like will bring us some rain in the evening on Thursday, and rain showers will last into Friday, mixing with a few snow flurries.

The good news is that temperatures won’t take a drastic tumble after the weather system moves through, and we’re forecast a pretty seasonable last weekend of November.
