CINCINNATI (WPTA) - The Komets have gotten in the win column for the first time this season.

Fort Wayne picked up a 4-3 win at Cincinnati, after winning a shootout against the Cyclones.

The Komets took a 3-0 lead during regulation, after goals from Drake Rymsha, Benjamin Gagné, and Samuel Dove-McFalls.

Cincinnati responded with three-straight goals, getting the tying score from Josh Passolt at the 6:05 mark of the third period. Neither team managed to score for the rest of regulation and overtime.

Stefano Giliati and Drake Rymsha scored on their shootout attempts for the Komets. Both Patrick Polino and Emmett Sproule failed to score on Fort Wayne goalie Ryan Fanti.

The Komets play their next game on Sunday afternoon at Iowa.
