More scattered showers and storms Wednesday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A complex of storms managed to survive across Lake Michigan and wander southeast into parts of Northern Indiana and Ohio this afternoon, sparking some isolated thunderstorms, though only downpours and some rumbles of thunder have been observed and the intensity of any storms will not extend beyond that through the evening.
Otherwise, we’ll clear out overnight with mild low temperatures in the upper 60s. Wednesday starts hot and humid with highs in the mid and upper 80s by the early afternoon, however a cold front will sweep through by midday, sparking a few scattered showers and storms and dropping temperatures and humidity back to comfortable levels. Once again, severe weather is not expected.
The week will end mostly sunny, but cool, with highs largely in the 60s.
