FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - There’s something for everybody in Downtown Fort Wayne Saturday: food, entertainment, art — even a market. The annual ‘Taste of the Arts Festival’ celebrates the rich diversity and culture within our community, which is why it’s “in the spotlight” this week.

“It certainly has grown over the years,” Arts United’s Rachelle Reinking told WBOI’s Terra Brantley. “We have a nice little art trail for folks to step on through. We’ve got the Arts Campus Fort Wayne, stepping on over to Rousseau Plaza, we’ll actually have live figure drawing and open figure drawing for anybody with the Artlink club.”

“More tastings on Calhoun Street, more stages on the Rousseau Plaza and The Landing,” she added, “and all the way over to Promenade Park are are last two stages, as well as the last couple of tastings.” Plein air painters will also be creating work along Main Street.

The 14th Annual Taste of the Arts Festival is from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Meet the Music finale concert is in Promenade Park from 5:30-9:00 p.m.
