Komets family comes together for cause
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Komets held an alumni game at SportONE/Parkview Icehouse on Saturday night. Many notable Komets players and coaches, past and present, came together for a great cause.
Braydin Lewis, the son of former Komets player Adam Lewis, is battling a rare form of brain cancer. Braydin had emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor back in June.
The event helped raise over $25,000 for Braydin’s medical expenses.
