Hot and Humid this weekend
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Isolated rain showers are possible this evening, but there will be plenty of dry times. So, no need to cancel Friday night plans.
Overnight, we’ll continue to stay mostly dry. Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s by Saturday morning. The weekend will be a hot and humid one. Temperatures in the afternoon will climb into the upper 80s, and with the dew points on the higher side, in the low to mid 70s, that’ll drive the heat index in the mid 90s.
Thanks to the heat and humidity, pop-up rain showers and storms are possible on Saturday, but the chance is low.
Rinse and repeat for Sunday. Highs in the upper 80s, heat index in the mid-to-upper 90s, and pop-up showers are possible, and more likely in the late evening.
Monday brings our next best chance for rain. Then cooler conditions to follow after the rain moves out on Tuesday.
