FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Isolated rain showers will continue this evening. Overnight time frame will stay dry as temperatures drop down into the upper 60s.

Friday will feature another chance for scattered rain showers in the afternoon and evening. One or two rumbles of thunder are possible, but not expecting severe weather. The day certainly won’t be a wash out, but some heavy rain could fall on you if you’re one of the unlucky people that has a rain shower pop-up on top of you. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s.

Saturday and Sunday will be hot and humid. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s for both days, combine with dew points in the 70s, it’ll feel like the low 90s. Because of the heat and humidity, rain showers may pop-up in the later afternoon for both days, but you can expect plenty of sunshine through the weekend. So, a good weekend to hangout by a pool.

Our next best chance for rain comes on Monday before we see cooler, less humid conditions by mid next week.
