ELWOOD Ind. (WPTA) - The Elwood Police Department has shared plans for visitation and funeral services for the 24-year-old officer who was killed in the line of duty on Sunday.

42-year-old Carl Roy Webb Boards II is charged with four counts stemming from the shooting death of 24-year-old Noah Shahnavaz, an Elwood officer, on Sunday, July 31. The shooting happened during an attempted traffic stop. Court documents say Board fired 36 rounds before the officer could unholster his own gun.
