FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - This weekend has brought nearly perfect conditions, but warmer and more humid weather builds in Monday.

This evening starts out mostly clear, with a bit of increasing cloud cover late overnight into early Monday. As southerly winds increase, the warmer air and increasing humidity will only allow temperatures to fall to the mid to upper 60s.

Highs rise to the mid to upper 80s Monday. Dew points will likely reach the low 70s, causing it to feel like the low to mid 90s. A few showers are possible Monday morning, but more widespread, scattered storms are most likely in the afternoon and early evening.

Showers and storms on Monday usher in a drier and cooler air mass on Tuesday. Temperatures Tuesday only rise to the low 80s, and we stay clear and sunny.

Our pattern changes Wednesday, which will bring increasing heat and humidity. Highs will be in the low 90s, and the heat index will likely reach the upper 90s, flirting with the triple digits. That humid air mass remains in place for the remainder of the week. Showers and storms are possible again Thursday, with highs staying in the mid to upper 80s through next weekend.
