FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After a mostly dry afternoon and evening on Saturday, more rain and storms are likely on Sunday.

A few thunderstorms, especially in the morning hours could be on the strong side. Gusty winds and heavy rain is possible at times. Heading into the afternoon, rain and storms will become a little less widespread, giving us dry times in between the rain. Temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 70s for the highs and even when it’s not raining, it’s likely to be a cloudy day.

Rain showers will linger overnight into Monday morning as temperatures drop into the upper 60s by Monday morning.

Isolated rain showers are possible for the morning on Monday, but we’ll dry out quickly and the sunshine will return by Monday afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid 80s.

The dry trend will continue for much of the work week, but we’ll stay on the warm side. Temperatures will be in the low 90s by mid-week and it’ll feel muggy for much of the work week as well. So, while Tuesday through Friday will be nice days to spend outside, it’ll likely be a sweaty couple of days.
