Rain chance headed into the weekend
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The day will start sunny on Friday, but clouds will move in quickly for the afternoon.
During the late afternoon, into the evening hours, scattered rain showers, maybe a rumble of thunder, is possible. Not expecting widespread rain, which means you might want to take the umbrellas and ponchos with you to your outdoor activities just in case, but you don’t need to cancel those plans. Temperatures on Friday will climb into the low 80s for the high.
Rain and storms possible early Saturday morning, bringing a nice drink of rain for the ground in some spots across 21 County. However, rain will become more isolated as we head into the rest of Saturday. We’ll even have a few periods of sunshine. Temperatures will be in the mid 80s for the highs. Outdoor activities should be mostly rain free in the evening on Saturday.
On Sunday, a better chance for rain showers and storms to impact outdoor plans in the afternoon. Temperatures in the mid 80s, once again.
Rain and storm chances will linger into the first day of the work week before drying out and heating up towards mid-week.
