Great weather for opening weekend of Three Rivers Festival
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Finally, a weather pattern change will bring with it calmer, less drastic weather for the week ahead.
Temperatures won’t experience these big swings over the next week or so, nor will we see as many days of rain.
Saturday will be the start of this pattern. More sunshine will appear through the afternoon as morning clouds clear out. Temperatures in the afternoon will be in the low 80s and a nice breeze will make it feel refreshing. Just make sure to wear the sunscreen if you’re spending your day at the Three Rivers Festival.
The humidity will drop a bit on Sunday, so while temperatures in the afternoon will be in the mid 80s and we’ll see more sunshine, it’ll still feel nice outside.
Monday, the slightly higher temperatures and humidity will return as we climb into the mid-to-upper 80s for afternoon highs. On Monday night into Tuesday morning, we may experience an isolated rain shower. However, nothing of concern.
Dry weather looks to hang around until next weekend as temperatures hang out where they’re supposed to be for this time of year, in the low-to-mid 80s.
