Warm, dry holiday weekend
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The rain that moved through overnight into Saturday morning was hit or miss, mostly miss for most across 21Country, but now it’s gone and we’ll see mostly dry conditions for the rest of the weekend.
It’ll be a great weekend to hang out at the pool if you don’t already have plans. Temperatures on Saturday will climb into the mid-to-upper 80s at the warmest point of the day. More clouds will roll in late in the day, but not a huge concern.
Late Saturday into Sunday morning, it’s possible a sprinkle or two develops, but no need to cancel plans. Temperatures by Sunday morning will drop into the low 60s.
Plenty of sunshine is expected on Sunday. It’ll be a bit warmer and a bit more humid, with highs in the upper 80s for most.
July 4th looks to be warm and muggy. Highs right around 90s and feels like temperatures a few degrees higher than that. Right around peak fireworks time, one or two very isolated rain showers could pop-up. However, I’m not overly concerned.
After Monday, we see multiple chances for rain and thunderstorms, which will hopefully be bringing widespread, much needed rain to the area.
