United States Power Soccer Association hosts national tournament at Turnstone

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - For the first time since 2019, the USPSA returned to Fort Wayne and held a power soccer tournament. Power soccer is the first competitive team sport designed and developed specifically for power wheelchair users.
36 teams featuring 266 athletes from 15 states played a total of 114 games across four divisions. Using custom built power wheelchairs, athletes play with a 13-inch ball in an adapted version of soccer.
Athletes’ disabilities include quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, and many others.
