Another TinCaps rally falls short against the Loons on Saturday night, losing 7-5

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The TinCaps rally, but once again fall just short against the Loons on Saturday night. Great Lakes defeated Fort Wayne, 7-5, and have taken four out of the first five games of the series.

After giving up a three-run home run in the first inning, TinCaps starting pitcher Robert Gasser settled in and wound up with nine strikeouts in 5.2 innings pitched.

Offensively, Lucas Dunn drove in two runs, and Corey Rosier had two hits and scored twice.

The TinCaps and Loons close out their series at 1:05 on Sunday at Parkview Field.
