First Alert Tuesday: Intense heat returns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Though the humidity will be much more manageable this time around, some uncomfortable heat will return to the area Tuesday!

Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the 60s, followed by another hot and sunny day Tuesday. Highs by midday will easily make it to, or just beyond, the mid 90s, and some areas could hit or break 100º! As a result, a First Alert Weather Day has been issued for Tuesday.

Sunny and cooler conditions near 90º return the rest of the week.
