Goode and Furst host basketball camp for second year
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Two rising basketball stars from Fort Wayne returned home this week, to host another basketball camp.
Illinois guard Luke Goode and Purdue forward Caleb Furst started the camp on Monday at the OPS Fitness Club.
Goode and Furst launched the camp last year, shortly after the approval of the new name, image, and likeness rules in the NCAA.
Last year’s camp was a one-day event, but this year the camp will run for four days, wrapping up on Thursday afternoon.
Kids from third through 12th grade will participate in the camp throughout the week, learning drills and competing.
Goode and Furst have some other OPS staff and volunteers working alongside them throughout the camp.
