Eastside softball’s stellar season will continue on at the 2A state finals next weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - After suffering just one loss in the regular season, the Eastside Blazers softball team entered the 2A state playoffs oozing with confidence. It is a team that filled with talent at every position on the softball diamond, and the Blazers will get a chance to bring home a state title next weekend.
After defeating Madison-Grant in the semi-state semifinal on Saturday afternoon, Eastside then took down North Newton by a 5-3 final in the semi-state championship game.
Eastside is slated to clash with North Posey at 4:30 pm at Purdue next Saturday.
