Man killed in Saturday afternoon crash

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - One man is dead after a single-vehicle crash happened in Kosciusko County Saturday afternoon.
Police say it happened at around 3 p.m. on County Road 1300 North, West of Kern Road, in Turkey Creek Township.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Fatal Team, the man was driving a 2017 Ford C-Maxx when he, for an unknown reason, crossed the center line. He then exited the south side of the road and struck a fence.
Police say he died at the scene. The man has been identified as 41-year-old Jeremy Ray Weaver of Milford.
According to police, he was the only person in the car.
This crash remains under investigation.
