MONTICELLO, Ind. (WPTA) - Back for another season of family fun.
From the brink of permanent closure, Indiana Beach is returning for its 2022 season, with opening weekend arriving on Saturday. It follows the revival of the theme and water park last year under new ownership.
The family-oriented attraction is located in Monticello -- about 100 miles southwest of Fort Wayne -- and serves as a scaled-down alternative to the bigger regional theme parks, such as Cedar Point, Kings Island and Six Flags Great America. Additions for 2022 include a single-car steel coaster called “the Cyclone,” which will join established rides such as the Cornball Express and the Hoosier Hurricane.
Concerts will be staged again this year, and fireworks shows are planned for at least six nights this summer.
Prices for most adults are set at $40 for a daily admission. Seniors pay $20 and children under 36-inches in height get in free. Season passes are available for about 70-dollars. Additional information is available online.
