Lake effect snow showers possible
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Some lake moisture and cooler air settling in Saturday making way for the possibility of scattered lake effect snow showers early in the day. These will be very light in nature with little to no accumulation. NW winds bring in cool air, highs sticking close to 40. It’ll be breezy, too, with gusts of 20 mph possible.
Closer to sunset, snow showers begin to clear and drier air moves in. We’ll be left with only a few clouds overnight. Dry air stays with us through most of Sunday, and much warmer weather will settle in with highs getting close to 60.
By Monday, even warmer; we’ll creep near 70. However, the chance of rain comes back into the forecast. Still, next week is looking a lot more like spring.
