CULVER, Ind. (WNDU) - Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman has determined that the officer-involved shooting that happened back in November in Culver was justified.

It happened in the 1100 block of North Shore Drive. Officers were trying to pull over 33-year-old Dylan Bush of Culver, leading to a chase.

The pursuit ended outside the Park’N Shop grocery store, where Bush allegedly drove toward a Marshall County deputy, pinning him to his cruiser. That’s when police said Sgt. Matthew Brown opened fire, killing Bush.

No criminal charges will be filed in the case.
