FORT WAYNE, Ind. In addition to his anchor responsibilities, Betton will continue to host ABC21′s weekly “Grant Me Hope” reports, which focus on area foster children who are seeking a permanent home, and the station’s Young Entrepreneur” segments, which are produced in a partnership with Junior Achievement.

“This is an exciting time for WPTA, and I’m honored to contribute to the important work that we do as local journalists,” Betton said. “I look forward to waking up weekday mornings with everyone in 21Country.” Betton will succeed Samantha Myers, whose final broadcast is set for Feb. 11.
