IU Fort Wayne, FWCS and ACPL team up to promote dental hygiene

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - On Saturday, Indiana University Fort Wayne (IUFW) School of Dentistry is partnering with the Allen County Public Library and Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) in honor of Children’s Dental Health Month. IUFW, FWCS and the Library are inviting area families to participate in a kid-friendly event that encourages good dental health with several fun activities.

In honor of Children’s Dental Health Month, the organizations are encouraging positive dental health. At the event you’ll find multiple activity tables for kids that include brushing and flossing with puppets, coloring teeth pictures, and Play-Doh dental kit fun.

National Children’s Dental Health Month is a national health observance that brings together thousands of dedicated professionals, health care providers and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and others.

The event is happening February 12, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
