FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A pleasant end to the work week with nothing but sunshine and blue skies. A high pressure system located over Illinois will keep us dry today, but unsettled weather will return for the second half of the weekend.

Temperatures are going to stay cold for the rest of the month. Today, our highs will reach in the mid 20s. Overnight lows tonight will drop down into the low teens. We’ll stay in the upper 20s this weekend. However, chances for snow returns for Sunday.

A fast-moving low pressure system, also known as a clipper, will bring snow chances for Sunday. The storm system will arrive early Sunday morning and snow showers will begin to wrap up by the afternoon. Most of the models agree that we’ll see light snow accumulations with limited travel impacts.

Snow chances continue early next week. You can tune in this morning from 4:30 to 7 on ABC21 for more details.
