FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A Fort Wayne man died from injuries he received in a crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Coldwater and Ludwig Roads.

Richard Scott Sarazen, 36, was identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office, after an autopsy. Fort Wayne police say Sarazen was the driver of a Ford Focus who pulled out in the path of a Dodge Journey going south on Coldwater Road around 3:30 p.m. Sarazen was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

Sarazen’s cause was determined to be blunt force injuries from a motor vehicle crash. Sarazen’s death has been ruled accidental by the coroner’s office.

Sarazen is the fourth fatal crash in Allen County for 2022.
