FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Former Purdue Boilermaker’s basketball star and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year held day one of his youth basketball camp today. The ages of the youth ranged from 5 to 14 years old. The morning session consisted of drills with Davis, as well as other division one players. In the afternoon, kids got to play full 5 on 5 competition and also received a speech on character from former All Big Ten basketball player Lewis Jackson.

Davis wants to not only improve the skills of players, but teach kids other ways of staying involved with the game of basketball even after their playing careers are over.
