FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Former WOWO talk show host and Army veteran Gary Snyder, a Democrat, is hinting at a bid to unseat Representative Jim Banks in 2022. On Twitter Friday morning, Snyder posted “I’m all in for #IN03...Details coming soon.”

Records show Snyder’s campaign committee filed initial paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on December 22. His campaign website does not appear to be active yet.

Snyder’s LinkedIn page lists him as the president of the Indiana Talks Radio Network, a progressive talk and sports radio platform. Until 2013, Snyder hosted a talk show on WOWO and WBAT radio. He’s also had a career in the financial services industry.

Snyder, a Huntington resident, lost a bid for Indiana Senate to incumbent Andy Zay in 2018.
