Fast moving low-pressure system will bring a chance for wintry mix this afternoon
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - It’s going to be another cloudy day here out in 21 Country. We will have wintry mix chances to return this afternoon from a fast moving low pressure system.
The rain/snow mix will move in as early as 3pm and should be out of our region by 8pm. Once the low has passed through our area, we will have lake-effect flurries that will take place tonight into tomorrow morning. Although precipitation will be light, we could see a few slick spots on the roads from freezing rain.
Overall, we will see limited traffic impacts from this. A high pressure system will build in to keep us dry for most of the work week ahead. In addition, temperatures will gradually warm back up next week. For more details you can tune in this morning from 6 to 8 on ABC21.
