Rain showers likely Thanksgiving morning with breezy weather starting today

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Today will be warmer but breezy with 30 mile per hour or stronger gusts possible. Highs will be near 50 with more upper 40s than 50s. It will be warmer despite persistent cloud cover.

Showers move into the area tonight and linger into Thanksgiving morning. Periods of lighter rain are likely but one or two heavier bursts are possible. Rain should wrap by midday. Temperatures will hold steady in the 40s through the afternoon.

Colder air pours in late Thursday with the potential for a few flakes Friday mainly north of Fort Wayne. A coating or less of snow is possible through Friday mainly across northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.

Colder weather starts Friday with the potential for another system Sunday.
