Komets start busy weekend with win over Kalamazoo

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Komets treated their Friday night crowd to another victory, beating Kalamazoo 4-2.

Connor Jones opened up the scoring with a power play goal in the first. Matthew Barnaby added Fort Wayne’s second goal 39 seconds later.

Matt Alvaro and Anthony Petruzzelli provided the other two Komet goals on Friday night.

Kalamazoo out-shot Fort Wayne 41-31 on Friday night, but Samuel Harvey had an excellent performance in the Komets net, with 39 saves.
