Tracking rain and snow showers Sunday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Cold air has moved in, with scattered rain and snow showers pushing in throughout the day. More widespread rain and snow arrives Sunday, with even a little bit of accumulation possible, especially north of Fort Wayne.
A few rain and snow showers will be possible early tonight, but most of the evening should be dry after sunset. Temperatures fall to the low 30s. The wind stays pretty breezy, out of the southwest at around 10-20 mph.
Tomorrow, more widespread rain and snow push in. Snow will be more likely in the morning, with rain mixing in more in the afternoon and evening. Locations north of Fort Wayne could pick up a little snow on grassy or elevated surfaces. I don’t expect much in the way of travel issues or impacts. Temperatures tomorrow hover in the mid to upper 30s.
A stray rain or snow shower will be possible Monday, but conditions should be mostly dry. Temperatures struggle to reach the 40s Monday. We climb to the 50s Tuesday and Wednesday before rain arrives Wednesday afternoon and evening. Behind the rain, highs fall back to the 40s.
