Northeast Indiana high school stars sign with college programs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Across 21Country, some wildly successful high school athletes made their college choices official on Wednesday.

Angola distance runner Izaiah Steury signed with the track and cross country programs at Notre Dame.

Homestead had several signing events throughout the evening. Basketball star Ayanna Patterson will join one of the top programs in the nation, signing with UConn. Her teammate Maggie Keinsley signed with Saginaw Valley State’s basketball team. Spartan soccer star Amelia White signed with Penn State. Her sister Sophia will suit up for IUPUI, while Mary McArdle joins the soccer team at Bowling Green.

Bellmont: Paige Busick (Volleyball - Ball State), Meg Saalfrank (Volleyball - IU-Kokomo)

Carroll: Mya DeWitt (Swimming - Indiana), Emma Fisher (Soccer - John Jay College), Kendall Gregory (Soccer - Lourdes), Rhya Holliday (Soccer - Huntington), Kaley Matney (Volleyball - Cedarville), Ali Sparks (Track and Field - Purdue Fort Wayne)

East Noble: Brayden Reisdorph (Baseball, Indiana)

Northrop: Jalen Jackson (Basketball - UIC), Quinn Olding (Volleyball - Lourdes), Morgan Patterson (Track and Field - Bowling Green State), Cole Sikorski (Track and Field - Saint Francis), Luke Siren (Baseball - Ivy Tech), Kayden Tassler (Soccer - Saint Francis)

Snider: Niesha Anderson (Track and Field, Indiana State), Karson Jenkins (Basketball - Barry)
