FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Purdue Fort Wayne men’s basketball team returned to Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday, and ended the night with a 103-54 win over Earlham.

The Mastodons had a great shooting night, hitting from a 63.8 percent clip overall, and 52 percent from three-point territory. Jalon Pipkins led Purdue Fort Wayne with 19 points.

Earlier in the evening, the Purdue Fort Wayne women beat Manchester 102-35. Former Homestead standout Sylare Starks posted a game-high with 21 points in her Mastodon debut.

New Purdue Fort Wayne women’s head coach Maria Marchesano missed the game, due to breakthrough COVID-19 cases within the coaching staff. The school said no players had tested positive prior to Tuesday’s game.
