FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - We’ve gone all month without seeing any measurable rain in Fort Wayne, but that streak will come to an end tomorrow.

Today, though will bring dry conditions. Expect highs in the upper 50s, with a few spots topping out in the low 60s. Fog will be likely in the early morning hours (a Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 9AM for all of our counties). Once the fog mixes out, we’ll see some sun this morning before clouds return by the afternoon and evening hours.

Overnight, clouds continue to build in. That keeps temperatures mild, with lows only near 50°.

Thursday starts out cloudy, with rain arriving by the early afternoon. Moderate to heavy rain is possible through the afternoon, making way for lighter and more scattered showers in the early evening. Temperatures Thursday top out in the low 60s.

Behind the rain, much cooler air moves in. Highs will only be in the upper 40s on Friday, and highs fall to the upper 30s by the weekend. A rain/snow mix is likely for both Saturday and Sunday, but accumulation and travel impacts look very unlikely. We’ll continue to track that system closely as we approach the weekend!
