FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - The family of Kevin Nguyen and members of the community gathered Sunday to make sure this case is not forgotten.

Dozens gathered for the “Walk for Kevin,” which was organized by JAVA.

The march began at the Arby’s where Nguyen was last seen and went to the Brass Rail where he spent part of that night.

Police said the 25-year-old was reported missing on Dec. 10, 2018 and was last seen on Dec. 8, 2018.

Since his disappearance, there hasn’t been much information on where Kevin could be.

“It’s been hard for me and my wife,” Nguyen’s father Lance Yankey said. “His room is right upstairs and I have a grandson now. It’s kind of weird because they say kids are innocent and he’ll be up there looking up the stairs and having a conversation with somebody. It’s a tear jerker, it’s been hard.”

Organizer Theresa Juillerat, who’s with JAVA, knows someone knows something. She says this case and others are personal to her.

“The establishment where he was at, there were a lot of people there that night,” Juillerat said. “So the last three years, I have children of my own and so do many of us. I can’t fathom not knowing what happened to my child.”

Fort Wayne Police ask you to give them a call if you have any information.
