FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) -We’re feeling the full effects of the cooler air mass in place today, and it’s going to stay on the cool side this weekend!

Tonight, we should start to see some breaks in the clouds, making for partly cloudy skies. While the winds will be calm, temperatures will fall near the 40° mark. Some spots could even dip into the upper 30s.

Saturday will be the better of the two days this weekend. Temperatures rise to the upper 50s with partly cloudy skies and relatively light winds.

Cloud cover increases by Sunday, but the morning should stay mostly dry. Lighter showers arrive by the late morning to early afternoon before heavier and more widespread rain moves in during the afternoon hours. Temperatures Sunday will once again stay in the upper 50s.
