Preparations are already underway for next year's airshow.
The last air show was in 2016 and featured 13 different performers doing 18 different acts including an appearance by the Air Force Thunderbirds. The next large-scale event is happening in 2019.
Plans are already in the works for the next show. During a news conference Wednesday, the 122nd Fighter Wing will address several key issues including the vision for the airshow, key performers and how community organizations can be a part of the event.
The fighter wing hopes to attract over 80,000 spectators to the event and raise at least $50,000 for charitable donations to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
ABC21 will provide updates on the event during the buildup.
