A Fremont man is in custody following a traffic stop Wednesday morning.
The Ashley Police Department said the arrest happened just after midnight Wednesday. an officer saw a Nicholas Garr, 40 of Fremont, at a business in the 100 block of East State Street. The department said he is known to be wanted.
Garr left the business and turned south onto I-69. Police stopped his vehicle and arrested Garr for three failure to appear warrants alleging dealing methamphetamine between 1 and 5 grams, dealing methamphetamine and battery with moderate bodily injury.
Officers were assisted by the Waterloo Marshal's Department.
