The former Gander Mountain store in Fort Wayne is back in business, newly branded as "Gander Outdoors."
The company said the rebirth of the store will be celebrated with a grand opening event this Saturday.
The 31,000-square-foot site in the 6000 block of Lima Road is one of three locations in Indiana that will spring back to life following the bankruptcy and shut-down of Gander Mountain stores nationwide.
Marcus Lemonis, who stars on the CNBC program "The Profit," bought the company's assets last May with the intent of reopening many of the stores under a modified name and operational strategy. The brand is now part of Camping World Holdings.
Saturday's grand opening event will feature free pastries and coffee in the morning and hot dogs and chips provided by a local Boy Scout Troop from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Events for children will take place throughout the day, along with drawings for gift cards.
