Police looking for help finding homicide suspect

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA 21) -

The Fort Wayne Police Department is looking for your help finding a suspect in a 2017 homicide.

The department said  Nickolas Fitzgerald McKinley is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Javon Sims. ABC21 previously reported Sims was found in the 2900 block of Smith Street on November 7 in critical condition. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

McKinley is described as a black man with brown eyes and short black hair with a full beard. He is 5'10" tall and weighs around 302 lbs. The department said McKinley should be considered armed and dangerous.
