A community-wide initiative is focusing on healthy living, mixing education and fitness challenges.
DeKalb Health partnered with Pro-Active Spine and Joint and the YMCA of DeKalb County for the initiative. As a part of the initiative, the organizations made a five-month program called Commit to be Fit.
Program participants will be engaged and challenged with customized exercise and nutrition guidance. The goal of the program aims to help improve community health, awareness, and wellness by embracing a proactive approach to living healthy.
After completing the program, participants will be entered into a drawing. One male and one female participant will be chosen to win up to $500 in cash. The program costs $30 per person or $55 per couple and launches February 20th and runs through June 26th.
