A local family is hoping someone has seen -- or, better still, taken in -- a therapy dog that disappeared on Sunday.
"Tucker" is partnered with Unique Wesley who battles anxiety and depression. Wesley told WPTA that since he left, her health has begun to decline.
"My anxiety is kicking up and I've had more seizures lately than normal, and it's just weird not having him around to have him comfort me and to let everybody know that I'm okay and to let me know that I'm okay," said Wesley
Tucker is on a specific diet due to serious food allergies -- another reason the family hopes to find him soon.
The chocolate brown pit bull has a white chest. He was believed to have been seen near Bishop Luers High School around noon on Saturday.
"The house is a lot different without him. The puppy is depressed. Everybody is just sad because we don't know where he is at. The house is definitely different. The atmosphere is just not what it used to be," said Wesley. "I really don't know how to function without him. I just really want my dog back."
Anyone with information on Tucker may reach Wesley via phone or text at 260-452-8347. You can also contact Angela Cantu at 260-450-3408 or Dom Wesley at 260-615-7085.
