Three people face preliminary charges after an investigation into a theft for narcotics ring in Kosciusko County.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department said the investigation began with a call for a domestic dispute complaint on E. Bucher Drive involving Amy Farmer. 35 on August 29. When deputies arrived, they saw a burnt cargo trailer in plain view. Amy was arrested for resisting, criminal mischief and arson. Police obtained a search warrant where other stolen items were located.
During the investigation Scott Farmer, 39, was arrested for outstanding warrants. The department said he admitted to stealing the burnt cargo trailer trading the tools that were inside it for drugs. Police say he also admitted to stealing 3 other trailers. Police were given an address on S. Main Street in Milford where Farmer said some of the items would be located.
After getting a search warrant, the department said detectives found stolen items were located along with drug paraphernalia, a small meth lab, and some firearms. The search gave detectives a lead to the residence of Allan Foyle, 45 of Syracuse. Police say a search warrant at his property uncovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and stolen property. Foyle was arrested for dealing methamphetamine and possession of stolen property.
Kosciusko County Detectives were assisted during the investigation by the Milford P.D., Kosciusko County Drug Task Force and the Indiana State Police Lab Team.
