People who take I-69 in the overnight hours should be aware of some temporary lane restrictions.
The Indiana Department of Transportation said I-69 in Allen County will have a work zone between mile marker 311 and 312 beginning overnight Monday, Sept. 11.
From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., drivers should watch for stopped traffic and lane restrictions in the work zone. INDOT said the restrictions will let contractors repair and replace sensors in the roadways. Work will continue through 6 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14.
INDOT is reminding people to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through any active construction zone.
