Grant County Sheriff's Department needs your help investigating vulgar graffiti

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA 21) -

Police are looking for your help finding who spray painted disrespectful and vulgar images outside a historically black Church building.

Grant County Crimestoppers released images of the vulgar graffiti, showing a spray-painted KKK, a vulgar image and word. The graffiti was found on Hilltop Chapel Church located on the north west corner of the intersection of CR 250 W and CR 600 S.

"The Grant County Sheriff’s Department is investigating this crime that promotes hate and disunity and will not be tolerated," Detective Kyle Beal with the Sheriff's Department said.

Crime Stoppers pays up to a $1,000.00 cash reward for information that results in the arrest or indictment of persons who commit felony crimes. If you know who was involved in this crime, you are being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 765-662-8477. The Crime Stoppers tip line is staffed 24 hours a day and tipsters remain anonymous.
