Riverfront boat tours offer history lesson through Fort Wayne's rivers

If you want to learn more about our city's heritage here is your chance.

Riverfront Fort Wayne Historic Boat Tours is offering people a chance to learn more about Fort Wayne's heritage through its riverfront. The event, put on by Riverfront Fort Wayne and the Fort Wayne Parks Department, takes place every other Sunday and Thursday.

Tours depart at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on each of the following dates:

7/16 Su Espionage and Intrigue
7/20 Th “With Might and Main”
7/30 Su Wars for Independence
8/3 Th Wars for Independence

8/27 Su Flags of Our Forefathers
8/31 Th Canals and Crossroads
9/10 Su Riverscapes
