Sipe strikes thrice as Indiana Tech runs away from Siena Heights

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA 21) -

Leadoff man Charlie Sipe launched three homers for Indiana Tech Monday night, as part of a 10-0 win over Siena Heights.

Sipe went 4-4, starting his night with a triple before homering in his final three at bats, including a grad slam in the fourth inning.

Starting pitcher Cody Kellar had a stellar performance of his own, throwing an eight-inning complete game shutout, allowing just two baserunners on a pair of singles from Deric Cain.

Taylor Nychyk hit a pinch hit home run in the bottom of the eight inning, reaching the 10-run threshold and ending the game.
