The TinCaps picked up another victory at Great Lakes, beating the Loons 12-2 on Saturday. Fort Wayne set a new season-high with 15 hits, and buried the Loons late with an eight-run outburst in the top of the ninth.

Komets fall late in overtime as Mallards stay alive

Like they've done many times this season, the Komets overcame a two-goal deficit against Quad City Friday night, giving them a chance to win in overtime and sweep the first-round series. However, with 16 seconds remaining in the first OT period, Sam Warning sent in the game-winner for the Mallards, securing a 3-2 victory and forcing a Game 5 at Quad City Saturday night.

TinCaps club a pair of homers in loss at Great Lakes

The Loons snapped the TinCaps three-game winning streak Friday night, as Great Lakes defeated Fort Wayne 6-4. Both Jorge Oña and Jack Suwinski hit their first home runs of the season, solo shots in the fourth and seventh innings.
